Gift Guide: Budget Friendly Clean Beauty

Budget Friendly Clean Beauty.png

I am so excited to bring this gift guide to you all today! Clean beauty was my first step into creating a non-toxic lifestyle and when I really started to become aware of what I was putting ON my body and not just IN my body (i.e. food). I started the process of transitioning my beauty (cleansers, moisturizers, all my makeup and more) products over to clean and non-toxic beauty with Beautycounter and Biossance. They each did a great job of identifying what was on the ‘clean list’ and why and it made me really open my eyes around the importance of using clean beauty products and how much your skin does absorb the products you place on it.

Note: Biossance has a great clean beauty 101 tutorial you should check out their Clean Beauty Academy to learn more about ingredients. Also, Ulta has a great clean beauty 101 section too.

However, I know how costly beauty products are in general and how even more costly clean beauty products can be, so I am so excited to bring you my budget friendly clean beauty gift guide today. I will say, I do A LOT of my clean beauty buys at Target but Credo, Follian and Honest Company are great clean beauty sources as well to learn about brands and find more budget friendly options. They have done a great job of developing their own brands and bringing in budget friendly clean beauty brands into their revamped beauty section and I love it. I have found some really great replacements for my more expensive items which makes me happy.

Below are great stocking stuffer ideas or create your own clean beauty kit for your mom, sister or friend!

For the woman who loves to do her own nails: I have been using this non-toxic nail polish since I started doing my own nails again during lockdown. They also have base coats, top coats and polish remove wipes so all the essentials for your nail lover to do at home manis. Create a non-toxic nail kit, and can I suggest Unwrap Me red as the color of choice?!

For the woman who loves a glow. This illuminator is creamy and nourishing and gives off such a beautiful glow without being to sparkly. Add that perfect something extra to day or night makeup. Illuminators can be pricy and sticky and this one is neither.

For the woman who loves a bold lip: Who doesn’t love a bold, statement lip? I snagged a tube of this lipstick at Target and it was so good. It was nourishing but not heavy and lasted a very long time. The color I chose was soulmate for an everyday look, but they have some bold reds and burgundy options perfect for the festive holiday season.

For the woman who loves a dewy look. This blush is creamy and will give you the perfect color and dewy look on your cheeks. What I love about a creamy blush is you can use on your eyes, cheeks or lips to give yourself a pop of color and an effortless look on the go.

For the woman who loves a weekly pick-me-up: Keep up this holiday season and start your new year off with this charcoal detoxifying mask. Perfect for the woman who likes to kick her week off with a little self-care. Cue bubble bath, candle, face mask and a glass of vino! A great budget friendly mask to have on hand for a quick skin pick-me-up.

For the woman who loves to work from the inside out: This collagen supplement is amazing! Super budget friendly compared to its competitors, plus it comes in capsule form vs powder. Collagen is a great supplement to help hair, skin, bones and joints. Perfect for the woman who is looking to be create beauty inside out.

For the woman who loves to highlight her eye color: I love a good eyeliner! It can add such great definition and pop to your eye and really set off a look. Also, a non-toxic eye liner was one of the first pieces of clean beauty I switched too. I was so conscious about how close to my eye eyeliner is that I immediately switched to this eyeliner and have used it ever since. A great pencil and smudges in all the right places to create a beautiful smokey and effortless look. But I found this budget friendly eye liner that would be a great option as well!

For the woman who loves a fresh clean face. You will see Acure on this list a few times, but they truly are a great non-toxic and affordable clean beauty brand when it comes to skincare. This brightening cleaner is amazing and a staple cleaner for me. It brightens and detoxifies and leaves my skin clean, clear and fresh. Could not recommend more!

For the woman who loves magic in a bottle: Every woman needs a great facial oil/serum in their arsenal of beauty lotions and potions, however, oills and serums can get pricy, but Acure is a great budget friendly non-toxic skincare option. Their squalane oil is great budget friendly option compared to Biossance’s squalane oil and will moisturize, balance and brighten you skin. To me, this is truly magic in a bottle and a great stocking stuffer for the woman who loves a little magic in her life.

For the woman obsessed with soft, smooth and nourished skin: I received this body lotion in a gift box this year and fell in love with it. It has a subtle smell of coconut, and the lotion is smooth and super nourishing. My skin drinks it up. Great for someone who is looking for a light, not greasy non-toxic all over moisturizer.
